LM-8005

DESCRIPTION:

LM-8005 is our proprietary flame retardant specially designed for wood and paper. It is white, water solvable powder. LM-8005 is able to maintain present after the drying process. When engaging with fire, it is able to form an inflammable carbon cover to isolate the material and outside fire. According to the GB8624-1997 classification for burning behavior of building materials and products standard, the processed wood and paper can reach flame resistant level class B1.  

APPLICATIONS:

Based on different flame resistant requirement, customer is suggested to use LM-8005 to create 10% - 30% of water solution. 

Apply the water solution directly on the surface of the material, and dry out the applied materials. 

Application Suggestions: 

1)For thicker wood pieces, infusion is recommended, normally for eight to twelve hours. The average infiltration should be 50 – 100 g/m2.  As for the smaller and lighter wood pieces, either brush or spray is feasible. Typically brush or spray should be applied four times to achieve an average infiltration of 200 – 400 g/m2.

2)For low dense materials such as cotton fibers and weavings, we suggest spray the materials with LM-8005 solution for one or two times. The average infiltration should be about 50 – 100% of the applied materials’ weight. 

3)For paper or carboard box, either brush or spray is feasible. The average infiltration should be 60 – 120 g/m2.
