DESCRIPTION:

FR-306 is our proprietary flame retardant. It is white, water solvable powder. FR-306 is able to maintain present after the drying process. When engaging with fire, it is able isolate the outside oxygen in order to put out the fire. FR-306 emit very limit smoke. It is a great choice for high Limit Oxygen Index requirement application. 

APPLICATIONS:

Based on different requirement, the typical usage is about 10 – 20% to increase OI to over 32. For lower viscosity, customer is recommended to use FR-306 and FR-XS701 or FR-U705 together. About 5 – 10% of either one should help further increase the OI.

FR-306 performs excellent on fiber glass, epoxy resin and unsaturated resin. With its high efficiency, only small usage is able to increase the LOI to desired level.
